Sexy Socialite Daughter of Bob Geldof and Paula Yates Has Close Call

It was a case of like mother, like daughter in London on Sunday when, like her mother, hot TV presenter Paula Yates, before her, pretty Peaches Geldof accidentally overdosed on drugs at her home.

Peaches, along with her similarly named sisters Fifi and Pixie, is the daughter of do-gooder/Boomtown Rat Sir Bob Geldof. But it was Boomtown Brat Peaches who was receiving "Live Aid" last weekend! The Sun quotes a source as saying:

“Peaches could not breathe for several minutes after suffering a respiratory arrest. Her friend had to give chest pumps and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. If she had not received this she could have died or she could have suffered brain damage.

"Peaches had gone into respiratory arrest, in which a patient's breathing stops but the heart doesn't. Peaches refused to go to the hospital with the emergency crew, because she was afraid her father would find out about the drug overdose.

"When she came to she started mouthing off and told the ambulance crew, ‘You have to respect my privacy'. She then told them to get out. And she refused to go hospital to have further treatment because she was worried about it getting out.”

Thankfully, Peaches and her juicy shirt fruit should make a full recovery. But tragically, golden hair, stunning beauty, fame, and narcotics are a mix that more often than not ends worse than badly.

The most obvious tragic blonde who was found dead—and in the nude, as pop-culture lore and the Elton John song go—was lusty legend Marilyn Monroe, who OD'ed in 1962.

Andy Warhol superstar and gamine heiress Edie Sedgwick (star of flesh fest Ciao! Manhattan) overdosed on barbiturates in 1971, and statuesque stunner Margaux Hemingway made like grandpa Ernest and committed suicide via overdose in 1996.

In 1999, Diff'rent Strokes sweetie Dana Plato succumbed to her drug demons and died, and, most recently, the twin towers of titanic Texan Anna Nicole Smith came tumbling down in February of 2007.

So take note, Peaches: Although these blonde babes all leave everlasting nude scenes by which to remember them, they never got a second chance. So clean up, and get out of your clothes!
