NEW RELEASES

A MODEL EMPLOYEE (2002)

THE SKINNY: The French thriller A Model Employee stars François Berléand as a successful software developer whose wife of twenty-five years is leaving him, setting the stage for a “new employee” (Delphine Rollin) to seduce him in an attempt to get her hands on his top-secret designs. Along the way, we get to see Rollin’s rack and rug. That’s what’s called a model skin-ployee!

NORMAL (2007)

THE SKINNY: The 2007 drama Normal follows the lives of three strangers brought together in the aftermath of a fatal car wreck. Carrie-Anne Moss plays the mother of the accident’s teenage victim, Callum Keith Rennie is a drunken womanizing college professor with an autistic brother, and Kevin Zegers portrays a pizza-delivery guy who starts an affair with his stepmother after he gets out of jail. The L Word’s Lauren Lee Smith and Camille Sullivan both bare boobs. In Mr. Skin’s book, that’s perfectly normal.

PULSE 2: AFTERLIFE (2008)

THE SKINNY: A sequel to the American remake of the brooding Japanese horror hit Pulse, Pulse 2: Afterlife is set in a future where the trapped souls who can travel via the internet have decimated humankind, leaving only those who have survived by escaping to the “dead zones” where wireless signals cannot reach. Brunette babe Boti Bliss bares boobs, butt, and bush as a ghostly siren who allows a big fat guy to screw her on the floor of a barn, only to return as a flickering, fully frontal phantasm to scare the pants off him. Still, Boti’s blurry beaver will quicken the pulse in your pants!

STUCK (2007)

THE SKINNY: Best known for his masterful screen adaptations of H.P. Lovecraft’s stories, director Stuart Gordon turned to the evening news for source material in his 2007 film Stuck. Mena Suvari plays Brandi, a woman who hits an unfortunate pedestrian named Tom (Stephen Rea), causing him to fly through the windshield and get stuck. Afraid of being prosecuted, Brandi leaves the car and half-dead Tom in her garage, ordering her drug-dealer boyfriend to dispose of him. Mena shows off her mams, and half-Haitian hottie Sharlene Royer gets totally nude and shows it all. You’ll get stuck to something too.

WICKED LAKE (2008)

THE SKINNY: Four horny lesbians (Carlee Baker, Eryn Joslyn, Eve Mauro, and Robin Sydney) go out to the woods for an erotic getaway that turns into a bloodbath in the horror flick Wicked Lake. A group of horny rednecks ambushes the girls in their cabin and torments them until the girls suddenly show their true colors and turn the tables, hunting the men down to slake their bloodlust. Wicked Lake will have you making a naughty puddle on the floor!

YOU DON’T MESS WITH THE ZOHAN (2008)

THE SKINNY: Legendary funnyman Adam Sandler is Zohan, an Israeli anti-terrorism commando who flees to the United States to pursue his dream of becoming a hairdresser. Wielding blow dryers, straightening irons, and thinning shears as if they were bazookas, Zohan works his way into a salon position by working his way sexually through the elderly clientele. As one of the golden girls Sandler seduces, Lainie Kazan gives us a little can, and some younger babes such as Emmanuelle Chriqui, Donna Feldman, and Yamit Sol offer some scantily clad goodness to balance it all out. You Don’t Mess with the Zohan, but with all the sexy dames in this picture, you might mess yourself.

BODY HEAT (1981)

THE SKINNY: It's hot in the dick-shaped state of Florida. What's a womanizing lawyer like William Hurt to do, then, when confronted with a rich married hussy played by shapely (but not yet too shapely) Kathleen Turner? Hurt and Turner steam up the already humid summer nights in Body Heat with some torrid sex. The booty is frisky and fine, but instead of saying, "Wham, bam, thank you, ma'am," he gets suckered by Kathleen into a plot to murder her husband. Didn't that oaf ever see Double Indemnity?


CARRIE (1976)

THE SKINNY: Director Brian De Palma’s high-school horror flick Carrie is a classic and an archetype. In the ensuing decades, Carrie has been a source of inspiration and imitation to countless followers, but De Palma’s steamy, multi-titty shower scene of Carrie still stands as an unequaled original. Much has been said in praise of De Palma’s gripping and jolting adaptation of writer Stephen King’s novel. The narrative push has been amply hailed as fresh, engaging, and suspenseful. Not enough has been said, or could ever be said, of the gripping and jolting views of buns and boobies suspended from the fresh and engaging forms of actresses Sissy Spacek and Nancy Allen. Although attempts to emulate them will be heartily welcomed, the daring skin flaunting of Spacek and Allen will never be duplicated.

HALLOWEEN: THREE-DISC COLLECTOR’S EDITION (1978)

THE SKINNY: It's the granddaddy of slasher movies, giving audiences what they want: beautiful naked women screaming their nipples off. Many imitators followed Halloween, but few surpass its mix of gore and goodies. Case in point (two cases, really) is P.J. Soles, who gets offed, but not before Mr. Skin gets off watching her Sole sisters set free from her shirt. Jamie Lee Curtis may not strip, but this flick offers enough treats to do the trick.


INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE (1994)
STUDIO: Warner Bros.

THE SKINNY: Vampires can have remorse; at least Brad Pitt's bloodsucker feels bad about his human harvest in Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles (1994). As the title says, the story is about Pitt confessing to a newsman his 200-year ordeal as a creature of the night. His gothic tale is depressing, except when some of his victims first lose their frilly outfits, like French nudist Laure Marsac and Missy Yager, both giving full-frontal perv-formances. Otherwise, there's Tom Cruise as a creepy, sort-of-gay vamp and a young Kirsten Dunst gaining critical attention. Yes, this chronicle is something to sink more than just your teeth into.

PSYCHO: SPECIAL EDITION (1960)
STUDIO: Universal

THE SKINNY: Famed director Alfred Hitchcock is the master of suspense and the grandfather of the slasher movie. While Psycho is light on gore and sex, for its time it was a mind-blower. The simple premise is that Janet Leigh has stolen $40,000 and is hiding out at a cheap motel waiting for her lover. Too bad for her it's the Bates Motel, with mama's boy Anthony Perkins as its knife-happy proprietor. Janet gets offed in one of the scariest yet sexiest shower scenes in a film history rife with them. She's completely nude, but Hitchcock's quick editing makes it difficult to catch more than a hip and side of boob, but an out-of-focus nipple will reward the eagle-eyed. Yes, Psycho will drive you mad with desire.
