Archie Panjabi is an English actress who made her name as Pinky Bhamra in the feel-good soccer feature Bend It Like Beckham (2002). Born to Sindhi Hindu immigrants from India, the audacious Archie graduated from Brunel University with a degree in management studies. Archie is not a man, although her name has caused some confusion here at Mr. Skin. Thankfully, her portrayal of Kalinda Sharma on the TV series The Good Wife (2009) set us straight, but the character isn't so straight herself. Archie is seen naked on the show, and while we don't get a glimpse of her boobs or her bits, we get to watch her rough up Jordana Spiro in a lesbian romp. That episode was called “Goliath and David,” but it didn’t slay the giant in us -- it woke the giant up! Archie's work on the The Good Wife earned her a Primetime Emmy Award in 2010 and an NAACP Image Award in 2012, as well as two other Emmy nominations and one Golden Globe nomination. This gal has a full trophy case and an even fuller rack! Archie has been going non-stop. She played Saamiya Nasir in the British comedy The Infidel (2010), pathologist Tanya Reed Smith in BBC Two drama series The Fall (2012), and a guest star on the Fox comedy series Brooklyn Nine-Nine. She also played protagonist Kim Dempsey on the ABC anthology drama series The Jury (2016) and joined the cast of NBC's Blindspot (2015). Lately, Archie has been buttoned up, but we hope this mover and shaker keeps on shimmying!
