If one can locate Rachael’s various productions, then one is in for a worthwhile treat. She invariably exudes acting chops above and beyond what is considered standard fare Stateside, so if you see her on a video box, it’s more than likely worth a watch. Especially if the movie is 2001’s Lantana, in which she portrays a divorcee engaged in an affair with a rather rotund Anthony LaPaglia. Angela Punch McGregor packs a wallop. Just ask Mel Gibson, who appeared as Romeo to her Juliet in a stage adaptation of the Bard’s classic tale of star-crossed lovers. The production occurred just after the release of the first Mad Max movie, and all the little schoolgirls were so jealous of the small-breasted blonde that they cheered when her character committed suicide. The schoolboys must have had a different reaction, especially if they were lucky enough to catch Angela in The Island (1980), her brief and only skin scene onscreen.
