Last Life in the Universe (2003) is a quirky film from Asia about a Japanese librarian who contemplates suicide. He is given a reason to live when the girl he has been obsessing over actually dies and he tries to find meaning in her death by stalking her sister, played by Sinitta Boonyasak. The two forge an odd relationship that’s charming and even sexy, though the dark-haired Sinitta never gets more naked than her underwear. If she were the last life in the universe Mr. Skin wouldn’t mind exploring her black hole.
