Buckingham Palace has been repossessed and turned into a recording studio to make punk rock. There are crucifixions in clubs; lovers and police are indiscriminately murdered. Welcome to London and the decline of civilization in Jubilee (1977). Queen Elizabeth I, played by a mostly nude Jenny Runacre, is magically propelled into the future of England only to find there’s no future, but England’s creaming thanks to the frisky antics of Nell Campbell and Linda Spurrier. They add skin to an otherwise plot-less satire. Jubilee is defined as a celebration, and this movie is a celebration of all things flesh. Long lust the Queen!
