It’s seventeenth-century France in Le Libertin (2000), and Vincent Perez is having a fine time putting together his encyclopedia of sin. He doesn’t even care that his work has already been banned. When the uptight Cardinal sends in lovely femme spy Fanny Ardant to find Perez’s secret printing presses, it’s just another opportunity for the happy hedonist to prance around in the nude. Don’t worry, though--Perez’s prancing also inspires some nubile nudity from constant companions Audrey Tautou and Vahina Giocante.
