In some ways Patricia Heaton is a long way from her star-making role on Everybody Loves Raymond on the ABC series The Middle. She's moved from Long Island to small-town Indiana and from a life of housework to a pitiful record as the worst salesperson at a local car dealership. But The Middle still finds Patricia the mother of three kids, including teenage daughter Sue (Eden Sher). The Middle's biggest improvement over Heaton's former home is the neighborhood; instead of over-involved in-laws living next door, Patricia's got a white-trash version of Brooke Shields, who's fond of answering the door in her bra. Now that's something everybody can love.
