In the history of publishing there have been few if any magazines containing more half-read articles than High Times. Many years of catering to a target audience whose attention span is menaced by all manner of distractions real and imagined has prepared the magazine’s creative trust to craft a gripping, giggling, goofy gangster entertainment in High Times Potluck (2002). As has long been known by any tenth-grade loadie, marijuana is a cure for all of society’s ills, and even the most insoluble problems of a stressed-out, uptight, violence-prone gangster can be reduced to nothing more menacing than silly sight gags with the addition of a few puffs of good ganja, administered by a fittingly flitty and fun kewpie girl.
