Pegah Ferydoni is Ayla (2010), a German girl of Turkish descent who's all too Teutonic for her father's liking. The two generations of Pegah's Turkish brood see life in Germany in drastically different ways. That's nothing compared to the problems of her love interest, a Turkish-German photographer whose father wants him to kill his own sister for adopting Western ways. Will Ayla save the day?
