The Corsican File (2004) stars Christian Clavier as a private dick who thinks he's a sex machine to all the chicks. The man has an ego, and he peacocks around Paris like he owns the place. When he's hired to find Ange Leoni (Jean Reno), a Corsican cat who's just inherited a sky-high stack of cash, Chris expects it to be one of his easier adventures in dickery. Then he gets to Corsica and realizes that his dicking is in for a licking—trailed by mysterious figures, he's unable to get the locals to tell him squat . . . and then he goes and gets himself kidnapped, mistakenly pummeled by a policeman, and carbombed to boot. Mon Dieu! What's a cocky private eye to do? It turns out that the man he's after is a bigger fish than he'd thought: Jean is a mafioso and a high-ticket target for the French government. He also has a hot, hot wife, and Chris ups the stakes in this wild goose chase by having a fling with the sweet thing, played by Caterina Murino.
