When will murderous miscreants learn that it is bad policy to brutally slay the wife of an ex-cop? The so-called criminal masterminds of the Chinese triads as depicted in Wake of Death (2004) would have been much smarter to let the retired lawman's bride live. The guy's off the force, so he's not causing them any problems in an official capacity. The wise bad man bears in mind that Confucius say, "Live and let live." By bringing death to the only true love in a lone man of integrity's life, not only have the foolish mobsters attracted his attention, in a bad way, but they have enraged a vengeful, trained bad ass who, having quit the police, is under no compunction to fight within the rules of the law. It's too late to say sorry, stupid.
