In Dangerous Liaisons (1988), decadent French noblewoman Glenn Close is pissed off that her ex-husband is about to marry virginal Uma Thurman. Determined to ruin the honeymoon, she asks her ex-lover John Malkovich to deflower the bride. Meanwhile, Malkovich is also hoping to score the worshipful and prim Michelle Pfeiffer. He’s got an added incentive on that one, too, since Close bets him a night of wild sex that he can’t land Pfeiffer. Obviously, the French really knew how to have a good time in the late 1700s. Audiences were having a pretty good time in 1988, too, goofing on Uma’s boobies--not to mention those of the lovely Valerie Gogan.
