Matthew McConaughey plays to his strengths as a slick scheister lawyer in The Lincoln Lawyer (2011). Mick Haller (McConaughey) is a sleazy lawyer who gives his fly-by-night defense counsel from the back of his Lincoln towncar. When Mick is asked to defend rich, even sleazier realtor Louis Roulet (Ryan Phillippe) on rape charges, he thinks he’s hit the jackpot. Louis and his family insist his accuser (Marguerite Levieva) is only looking for a payday, but as he digs into the case, Mick starts to see disturbing parallels to a string of unsolved murders.

Marisa Tomei co-stars as Mick’s ex-wife, whose interest in Mick is quite current when she strips to her bra making out with him 41 minutes in. We also get a stripperific slice of Yari de Leon when she appears in flashback wearing a black bra 49 minutes in. The Lincoln Lawyer will make you bang your gavel!
