Sourpuss teetotalers point to alcohol as the fuel of fistfights and sundered marriages, but Relax... It's Just Sex (1998) raises a toast to booze as being the great unifier. A mixed bag of sexually active topers comes together to sip and interact convivially at a neighborhood bar. Some of the habitués are straight, others are bent, and a few straddle the line, unsure on which side to bang. Cocktails and witty chatter ensure that the comfort of common respect reigns, until a pair of homosexual men reacts to an attempted gay-bash by raping one of the would-be attackers. After that, everybody's out to save their own ass.
