An ambitious fashion designer takes a quick route to the top in the French TV melodrama Embrasse-moi vite! (1995). Grace De Capitani plays Marie, a young designer who knows she’s got the talent to run her own couture house if somebody will front the money. By marrying a wealthy businessman (Yves Lecoq), Marie makes everything fall into place--fame, money, and success. But when her husband pulls the rug out from under her by divorcing her and selling the business, she vows not to go down without a fight. De Capitani is quite convincing in her role as a feisty designer, although her best look is also the barest, as she dazzles by dropping her robe.
