Most people know Nostradamus (1993) as a man with his head in the clouds and his eyes on the future, but it turns out he also had his hands on the mounds and his eyes on the poopers of a castleful of fair maidens. That’s what this British biopic asserts, anyway, as it chronicles the rise of the famous prognosticator in 16th-century France, with frequent pauses for randy Renaissance rutting.

There’s plenty to stroke your crystal ball in this flick, like Diana Quick’s “quick” flash of tit posing for an artiste, Amanda Punch’s knockout knockers, Assumpta Serna’s astounding chest apples, and Julia Ormond’s slo-mo throwdown in the sack with the seer. They should’ve called it Naked-dame-us!
