Fifteen years ago, Roxy Carmichael left the Rockville's burg of Clyde, Ohio, in search of fame and fortune. To the residents of Clyde, she hit it big—she was the subject of a song. Now Roxy's coming back to Ohio and turning the town upside down in Welcome Home, Roxy Carmichael (1990), a quirked-up vehicle for a barely legal Winona Ryder. Noni plays Dinky Bossetti, an oddball teener who's convinced that the glamorous Ms. Carmichael is her birth mother.
