Italian comedy veteran Dino Risi has his hands full with the cast of the humorous bedroom farce La Stanza del vescovo (1977). Ugo Tognazzi plays a decorated war veteran with a lecherous eye for the ladies. The soldier longs most for Matilde (Ornella Muti), the sexually repressed sister of his shrewish, loathsome wife (Lia Tanzi). If he’s going to score Matilde he’s going to have to slip around the suspicious gaze of his meddlesome mate. In addition to Tanzi and Muti, actresses Katia Tchenko and Karina Verlier flash some flesh in a zany comedy with skin to spare.
