A quiet and mysterious melodrama set in the French Riviera during the off season, Le Hasard et la Violence (1974) stars the always stunning Katharine Ross, who goes to the beach to find a bit of inner quiet. The man she meets there will perhaps change her life forever. There’s a nice, long, slow look at Ross's thickly nippled torso. The Graduate never got as good as this!
