Surgeon Nick (Julian Sands) has some issues in Boxing Helena (1993). He's given to premature ejaculation, he has an unhealthy attachment to his mommy, and he's obsessed with his young sexpot neighbor Helena (Sherilyn Fenn). After the two have a one-night stand, Nick's really hooked. Even though he's laying some boring pipe with Betsy Clark, who believes the sun sets in his pants, Nick can't let go of Helena. When his mother dies, Nick moves into her mansion and throws a party just so Helena will come. She turns him down and winds up sharing her box with another, and all Nick can do is watch. When Helena comes back to Nick's to pick up her purse, he tries again to get her into bed. When she storms out, Helena is the victim of a hit-and-run. But Nick's not about to call an ambulance. He performs an emergency amputation of her legs and lets her recover in his house. It slowly dawns on Helena that she can check in, but she can never leave. Eventually Nick even removes her arms so she can't escape. But when it comes to raw sex appeal, Sherilyn's never unarmed!
