For some reason, Colin Farrell’s penis became the big story in A Home at the End of the World (2004). The actor’s surprising participation in this small indie film was eclipsed by the decision to cut out his nude scene. With the distracting dick out of the way, this is still a fine drama about a lonely guy trying to put together a makeshift family with his misfit friends. Free spirit Robin Wright Penn is certainly believable as Farrell’s dream girl. It’s left to former child actress Asia Vieira, though, to enjoy a real maturing process as she makes her skinema debut with some stimulating simulated sex.
