Chevy Chase reprises his role as Los Angeles investigative reporter Irvin “Fletch” Fletcher in the comedic sequel Fletch Lives (1989). This time around, Fletch inherits a Louisiana estate and soon finds himself framed for murder when he wakes up next to a dead woman. Using his journalistic instinct and ability to disguise himself, Fletch soon uncovers an elaborate plot involving a televangelist and toxic waste. There’s no nudity to report, but we do get a look at the sexy Julianne Phillips.
