When Carol (Caroline Cave), a wealthy married condo dweller in Toronto, falls almost to her death in an apparent suicide attempt in the dark drama This Beautiful City (2007), several characters' lives become oddly intertwined. One of those characters is prostitute Pretty (Kristin Booth), whose crack-addict boyfriend is trying desperately to make enough money to leave Toronto and restart their lives. Kristin shows off her casabas in bed with her beau as they discuss their future, while Caroline goes full frontal standing on a bed revealing the scars from her nasty fall.
