Amanda Pays is having a very, very bad day. She's gone with her dad to East Berlin in an effort to ease their estrangement, but the arrangement lands her in a terrifying twilight zone that thrusts her back into the past to witness the barbarities of Nazi Germany. It all starts when Amanda takes a detour into The Cold Room (1984)—a mysterious chamber hidden away behind a wall of her hotel—and finds herself suffering a wee mental freakout or two. But what started as chills and a fearful feeling quickly progresses to full-fledged trips through time; suddenly Amanda finds herself stuck in heil Hitler hell trying to help a young resistance fighter escape the SS. Is all this time-tripping real, or is Amanda just tripping?
