Muslim-murdered filmmaker Theo van Gogh recreates the 2002 day wherein Dutch politician Pim Fortuyn was assassinated. The plot then focuses on a photographer who follows the trail of Tara Elders, who plays a radical associated with the environmental group that is suspected in the killing. As the mystery unfolds, the female cast disrobes, making May 6th (2004) a good day for fans of naked European starlets.
