With a screenplay by frequent early Saturday Night Live host Buck Henry, based on a novel by satirist Terry Southern, which was in turn based on Voltaire’s comic masterpiece Candide, Candy (1968) is an epochal sex farce with an impressive literary pedigree. Swedish beauty-queen-turned-B-movie-actress Ewa Aulin heads up an impressive cast including Marlon Brando, Richard Burton, James Coburn, Walter Matthau, and Ringo Starr in the story of a teenage girl searching for the meaning of life through one bizarre and erotic encounter after another. Along the way, we get to see T&A from Ewa and the left knocker of Anita Pallenberg. Candy will have you using your handy!
