A wedding celebration is the setting for the Dogma production Días de boda (2002), number thirty in the series, and it follows the usual path of its predecessors. The low-key plot focuses on the groom primarily, a man who is uncertain of his sexuality and who has a crush on, of all people, his father-in-law to be. Jittery camera work and the vocalization of real feelings make for an authentic experience. Pilar Saavedra unleashes the sweater puppies in a stairwell, thus making one old man very, very happy.
