The plot of Waiting for the Messiah (2000) follows economic hardship in Argentina, but this acclaimed comedy shows that free love always prospers. The large cast of characters includes a young man looking to shake up his dull life--and he gets off to a great start by falling for bisexual Chiara Caselli. This twist also pays off with footage of Dolores Fonzi as the gorgeous gal sharing Chiara’s happy days and nights. Meanwhile, the guy’s old girlfriend Melina Petriela is getting by on a karaoke scheme. Even better, times turn out to be so hard that Melina can’t even keep a shirt on her back!
