Rutger Hauer stars in The Osterman Weekend (1983) as a TV newsman who invites a bunch of friends to his country estate. That’s awfully convenient for CIA man John Hurt, since he’s figured out that some of Hauer’s pals are involved in some serious espionage. This exercise in paranoia features an amazing all-psycho cast, with Craig T. Nelson, Dennis Hopper and Chris Sarandon all running at full intensity. Male viewers, however, can take comfort in the soothing nudity of Meg Foster, Helen Shaver and Cassie Yates.
