Director Carlo Rola presents a tale of Berlin in the roaring ’20s, starring top-notch German actors Ben Becker and Jurgen Vogel as a pair of unlikely buddies, one strong and self-assured, the other alternately wild yet withdrawn. The well-made drama Sass (2001) also features a bevy of beautiful actresses showing skin: Flapper cuties Jeanette Hain, Julia Richter, and Sophie Rosentreter all strip down to the buff for this historical pic.
