Soviet-trained director Sergio Olhovich explores the anxieties of the middle class in Llovizna (1978), a drama about a businessman from the city who picks up a group of poor farmers on the highway. That said, his wife argues convincingly for the comforts of the middle class in a sexy early scene where she emerges from the shower ready for action. Llovizna was adapted from a story by Juan de la Cabada, and Olhovich made an earlier version of the film in 1968, which he directed in Moscow.
