Everybody needs friends, although a high-quality hooker who plies her wondrous and curvilinear wares in the rarefied ambience of a private gentleman's club may seem like a self-sufficient breed of beautiful beast. But let that top-shelf sex worker be murdered while on the job, which is the unmerciful fate of the hoochie-slinging star victim of Deviant Desires (2002), and only her bosom buddies will be left to care. The cops can't be bothered to chase down the killer of every whore who gets snuffed in the line of duty.
