The employees of a modest Spanish bank experience a topsy-turvy transition to the Euro in the Spanish crime comedy Atraco a las 3... y media (2003). On the eve of the currency switchover, the Previsor Bank is purchased by a powerful German company that quickly gets to work gutting the bank’s work force. The shrewd teller Galindo (Iñaki Miramón) rebels, however, by staging a caper of immense proportions. Galindo does get some aid from a couple of comely co-workers, played by Elsa Pataky and Beatriz Rico. Both ladies are eager to shed their threads when they’re not robbing their employers blind.
