Terrorists are all the rage today, which makes Digital Man (1995) prescient in its presentation of international evildoers who gain access and launch codes to more than one hundred nuclear missiles. The rogue combatants have failed to anticipate the intervention of a scientifically engineered superhero whose mechanical humanity is put to the test as he tracks the prophets of violence with intent to terminate. The free world, on the other hand, has failed to anticipate that their cyborg savior might suffer an emotional and mental meltdown and turn his fatal expertise on a town of innocent hicks. Enter the Marines to restore order. But one of their squad is a robot himself. One more twist of plot and the world will be history.
