The Spanish drama Soldados de Salamina (2003) stars Ariadna Gil as an academic and writer named Lola, whose research for a newspaper column on the Spanish Civil War leads her on an obsessive quest to find the truth about two mysterious historical figures. One is a fascist leader named Rafael Sánchez Mazas (Ramon Fontserè), who was spared execution by an unknown soldier, and the other is a war hero named Miralles (Joan Dalmau). María Botto shows skin and we get a look Ariadna’s naked back in the bathtub.
