Christopher Lambert returns as the immortal swordsman Connor MacLeod in Highlander II (1991). Released five years after the original film, this sequel is set in 2024 when the Earth has lost its ozone layer and costars Sean Connery as another immortal from the planet Zeist and Virginia Madsen as a scientist who tries to strip off the artificial shield that protects the earth from solar radiation. Sadly she doesn't strip anything else off.
