Jouncingly jugadocious Joyce Hyser plays an aspiring female high-school journalist who goes undercover as a guy to prove the point of her rejected essay in Just One of the Guys (1985). So we have a hot girl posing as a male jock . . . does it get any better than this? Yes, somehow this cable classic does! With the right clothes, haircut, voice, and walk, Joyce gets accepted as a boy by everyone at school. Aside from some close calls in the locker room and gym class, that is. But trouble rears its twin torpedoes when Terry falls for her pal Rick (Clayton Rohner), a rare guy who is neither macho nor preppy. With the prom coming up, Terry feels a lot of pressure to come clean about her own personal Crying Game. It's at the prom, in front of everyone, that Terry opens her tuxedo to reveal her chest pieces: the greatest case of accessorizing since the cummerbund.
