Nope, it’s not a rock doc about Dee Snider. Instead, Wolfgang Büld’s Twisted Sisters (2005) is a satanic horror thriller about the Cain and Abel struggle between identical female twins. For many years, Norah (Fiona Horsey) withered in the shadow of her preternaturally talented sister, Jennifer (also played by Horsey). After many years of neglect, however, Norah decides to get assertive and reclaim the spotlight that was robbed from her. By stalking her twin, Norah takes the first steps down a slippery slope of idol worship, imitation, and murderous revenge. Horsey throws everything she’s got into a meaty Jekyll-and-Hyde performance, giving appreciative viewers their chance to size up an angelic girl next door and thuggish bad girl in one fell swoop.
