Writer-director Gerald Hustache-Mathieu's Poupoupidou (2011) stars Jean-Paul Rouve as a cult novelist whose book titles are famously kook-kook-a-doo. From Tax Haven to The Bride Wore Phosphorescent, Jean-Paul's tomes are most famous for their names. This is the least of the crime writer's problems, though...he's about to find himself investigating the death of a TV weatherlady who thinks she's Marilyn Monroe! It's David Lynch meets the French in this darkly comic flick.
