Sweet Sugar (1972) could be a morality play teaching young, beautiful, and possibly lesbian women to stay away from drugs, especially in foreign lands with cruel systems of justice. Certainly Phyllis Davis, as the lead, learns that lesson the hard way when she's imprisoned for drug possession. She's strip searched before being sent to the showers with her other equally endowed prisoners. One thing leads to another and soon the girls are pulling at each other's things, at first sensually then in a no-holes-barred catfight. Naturally Phyllis tries to escape this hell, but she’s captured and then tortured. They finally riot and escape for real. Yes, this could be a morality tale, except who wouldn't want to share a cell (and maybe something more intimate) with Phyllis?
