There's been talk online that the romantic comedy is dead. Are these bloggers batty? Well, maybe not exactly, if they're comparing the current crop to the classic harvest of the Golden Age of Skinema. An example is Cola, Candy, Chocolate (1979), a European take on the teen sex comedy, with everything fans have come to expect from the genre, except with more exotic names on the marquee. Blonde bombshell Ursula Buchfellner may not be a household name here, but you wouldn't kick her T&A out of your home. Dolly Dollar’s inflated breasts are a boon to the pants economy. And Olivia Pascal knows that no dip is complete until it's skinny. These cola, candy, chocolate cuties are a sweet distraction.
