Schlock cinema provocateur Jesus Franco brings his patented gore, sex, and insanity formula to the cannibal adventure Devil Hunter (1980). Teutonic beauty Ursula Buchfellner plays a blonde movie star who is first dragged to the jungle by white kidnappers and then seized by dark-skinned natives. Ultimately she's threatened by the locals' bug-eyed, flesh-eating demon god, until Vietnam vet Al Cliver (Peter Weston) stomps ass to the rescue. Ursula looks mighty tasty when she's naked, so you kind of understand where the hungry, hungry bad guys are coming from.
