Max Tyler (Armand Assante) is a dentist in deep debt for botching a surgery that cost him his career in Consequence (2003). Looking to make a large chunk of cash quickly, he fakes his death for the insurance money and has facial surgery to assume the identity of his deceased brother Sam to collect the payoff. He soon uncovers that Sam was last dodging several deadly characters, running from debts of his own. Max must face the awful tooth when his old bro’s double dealings come back to bite him on the ass.
