John Goodman is the Center of the Universe for his extended clan of kooks, and he and wife Jean Smart are always having to put up with family chaos and unannounced visits. John's frustrating fam includes horndog pops Ed Asner, batty ma Olympia Dukakis, neurotic sister Melinda McGraw, and dopey brother Diedrich Bader. Can any of them get their lives together without leaning on poor John? The answer we shall never know, because Center of the Universe bit the dust after ten episodes.
