Italian frightmeister Lamberto Bava reins in his normally splatter-happy touch in favor of spooky atmospherics in Demons III: The Ogre (1988), the tale of a monster that may or may not exist. Virginia Bryant plays a writer who is forced to confront the ogre of her childhood nightmares when her family moves to an old mansion she seems to remember from her dreams. By the moody thriller's end, Virginia knows the horrible truth about the mutant abomination, and we get to see her topless too! Check out the DVD release from Media Blasters.
