Review

Pamela Franklin moves to the small town of Lilith, where she becomes the target of local warlock Orson Welles. It turns out that she’s his secret weapon to bring his son back from the dead--but that’s all from the original version of the film, made back in 1972 as Necromancy. Back then, this was director Bert I. Gordon’s rip-off of Rosemary’s Baby (1968). When the film was reissued in 1983 as The Witching, somebody wasn’t satisfied with the original nudity of Pamela Franklin and Sue Bernard. Instead, new nudity was added from bodacious Barbara Peckinpaugh--along with some sexy vamping from Laurie Senit and future scream queen Brinke Stevens.
