The Japanese offering Platonic Sex (2001) is based on the autobiography of Ai Iijima, a renowned Asian porn star. The protagonist, Aoi, is sexually abused as a teenager and runs away from home, only to fall into the hands of a nightclub owner who soon has her turning tricks. She moves on to stripping and eventually ends up in the porn industry. This is a cautionary tale for young women who think all is lost after a traumatic event. Saki Kagami is extremely sexy as the young Aoi, though you’ll wish her bra would pop open when she’s pinned beneath her boyfriend in bed.
