Notorious flop Gigli (2003) stars Ben Affleck as a thug ordered by his boss to kidnap the mentally handicapped son of a federal prosecutor and Jennifer Lopez as a tough lesbian gangster sent to oversee the operation. As in real life, Affleck and Lopez find themselves attracted to one another and chaos ensues. The commercial and critical failure of Gigli signaled the beginning of the end for Ben and Jen’s well-publicized romance. Equally sad is the fact that we never get to see J-Lo’s renowned rump or any proof of her Sapphic sensibilities, but a scene of J-Lo working out in her tight grey sweats gets plenty jiggly.
