In Halbe Miete (2002), a computer hacker, Peter, steals valuable tech information and sets up a meeting to sell it for a king’s ransom. When his girlfriend dies in a freak accident, however, he ends up on the lam, arriving in Cologne, where he takes refuge in the homes of people who are on holiday. When he ends up in an accident of his own, he goes from fighting to sell his valuable information to fighting for his life. We get a quick peek at the jugglies as Peter tries to save Natascha Bub from drowning in the bathtub.
